I have tutoring experience with elementary school students and volunteer experience working with classes of students at both elementary and middle school levels. For the past three years I have taught weekly classes at a Charlotte, NC in their pilot leadership class, personally developing portions of the weekly curriculum focusing on life and leadership skills for 7th and 8th grade students. Throughout high school, I taught 4th grade classes for my church. In middle school, I tutored peers who were unable to attend school due to illness in algebra. My experience in writing intensive courses as well as an editing intensive freshman English course has made me a go-to person within my friend group to edit and critique papers.
